You can find several SABRE products at your local Target store that help keep college students safer on campus. Here are some of our favorites that will help you and your college student have peace of mind while they're away:
1.) Dorm/Apartment Kit: This three-piece set will give you protection at home and on the go. The door stop alarm, and door/window alarm sound at 120 decibels when activated - a siren you can hear up to 300 feet away so your hall mates and neighbors will know if you're in trouble. The alarms are battery activated, and take just seconds to install before they're ready to be used. Plus - it's portable so these key pieces can be carted to your next home away from home. The kit also includes a personal alarm with an LED light.
2.) Personal Alarms: SABRE's personal alarms may look like thumb drives you surely have to head back to campus, but instead of saving your homework it could help save you from becoming a victim. These 110 decibel alarms are easy to activate - just pull the alarm from the key chain and people up to 300 feet away will know you need help.
3.) SABRE Red Key Chain Pepper Spray: SABRE's Campus Safety Pepper Gel is a great option for college students as it doesn't become airborne and any secondary effects on the user or bystanders are minimal. You can find one here - but Target carries our best selling traditional pepper spray. This quick release key chain model gives you protection from up to 10 feet away, has a 4 year shelf life, and can be sprayed up to 25 times!
