4th of July Safety Tips From SABRE!

Well folks, tomorrow is the 4th of July, also known as Independence Day and of course, SABRE is here to provide you with tips to keep you and your family safe! A lot goes on during this wonderful holiday: cookouts, parades, themed parties, firework shows, and much more!
Throughout all of the exciting festivities during holidays like the fourth, we tend to let our guards down as we enjoy our favorite holiday traditions, like going out to see the fireworks with family.
Here are some things to keep in mind while celebrating America's independence!
Stay alert and aware, especially when attending crowded events
Events like firework showings are always packed full of people and criminals love large crowds. The larger the crowd, the easier it is for someone to get lost or quickly mugged.
To be safe, we would recommend our SABRE Personal Alarms for these situations. The dual siren of the alarm produces a strong sound, attracting attention and making criminals think twice before sticking around to complete their crime.

Keep a close eye on children
Talk to your child before going out and make sure they understand important safety rules. When going to events, don't let them out of your site and make sure it is clear to them that they can only stay in specified areas where you can see them.

Personal alarms are also a good tool for children. If they wander off and find themselves in danger, they can easily pull the key chain which triggers the alarm.

Protect your home while out
If you're going to be out celebrating all day, or even vacationing for the holiday, your home should be protected. Everyone knows that people will be out for the holidays, including intruders. Don't make it easy for a criminal to slip into your home. SABRE’s motion sensing alarms, door and window alarms, as well as our wireless home protection system make it easy and affordable to secure the first floor of your home and the main entry points.

Remember to have fun, but stay aware and be safe!
